Leadership Advisory Partnership

For Founders and small teams ready to navigate a leadership transition together.

A Leadership Partnership Built Around Your Transition

Leadership transitions rarely involve the founder alone.

As the founder’s role changes, other people often need to take greater ownership, make more decisions, lead differently, and develop the confidence and capability to carry responsibilities that once flowed back to the founder.

During our time together, we identify the leadership priorities that matter most for your organization and build the engagement around them.

There is no fixed curriculum. The work may involve individual coaching, shared leadership conversations, advisory support, assessments, and practical development based on the needs of the people involved.

How It Works

    1- Start With a Conversation

We begin with a private conversation about the business, the founder’s transition, the leaders involved, and what needs to change.

Together, we determine whether LAP is the right fit and who should participate.

    2 - Assessment & Discovery

Participants complete relevant assessments and onboarding so we can better understand leadership roles, founder dependency, decision ownership, team dynamics, and development needs.

    3 - Leadership Deep Dive

We review what we’ve learned, identify the priorities that matter most, and establish the focus for the next 12 weeks.

Your engagement is built around the transition—not a predetermined curriculum.

    4 - Coach, Develop & Adjust

Over the 12 weeks, participants receive coaching and advisory support focused on the leadership priorities we’ve identified.

We apply the work in real time, review progress, and adjust as the organization and transition evolve.

Build the Leadership Capacity Your Transition Requires

LAP is designed for organizations where a founder’s changing role also requires leadership growth around them.

This may be the right engagement when:

  • A founder wants to move out of day-to-day operations and other leaders need to take greater ownership.

  • A right-hand person or senior leader is stepping into a larger leadership role.

  • A successor is being prepared to eventually lead the organization.

  • Decision-making still flows too heavily through the founder.

  • Leaders need stronger clarity around roles, authority, accountability, and ownership.

  • The founder is preparing to step back and the organization needs greater leadership capacity before that can happen.

  • A small leadership team needs to operate more effectively together as responsibilities shift.

LAP is not general team training.

It is a focused leadership-development and advisory engagement built around a real leadership transition happening inside the organization.

Build the Right Partnership

What's Included in Every Partnership:

  • Leadership / Founder Dependency Assessment

  • Initial Leadership Deep Dive

  • Customized 12-Week Priorities

  • Private Coaching for Participating Leaders

  • Shared Leadership Sessions Where Appropriate

  • Between-Session Support

LAP is structured around the people who need to be involved. Every engagement begins with the Founder + Right Hand and can expand to include a rising leader (or Successor) and additional leadership participants based on the needs of the organization.

The Mission

To build up the quality of life in our communities through education, mindset development, and business ownership.

Your Custom Pathway Includes

  • Outline of a lightbulb inside a speech bubble, symbolizing ideas or innovation.

    Clearer Leadership Ownership

Greater clarity around who owns what, which decisions belong where, and how responsibility should move beyond the founder.

  • Magnifying glass with a question mark over gears, representing search or problem-solving.

    Stronger Leadership Capacity

More confident, capable leaders who are better prepared to make decisions, lead people, and carry greater responsibility.

  • Line graph with an upward trend featuring a rocket icon, symbolizing growth or progress.

    Greater Organizational Independence

A business that relies less heavily on the founder because leadership, trust, and decision-making capacity exist beyond one person.

Meet Your Advisor

I work with founders and leaders navigating the point where the business can no longer depend on one person to carry the leadership load.

Sometimes that means helping a founder become more strategic. Sometimes it means developing a right-hand person or successor. And sometimes it means strengthening the leadership around a founder who is preparing to step back.

My role is part coach, part thinking partner, and part advisor.

I help leaders examine what is actually happening beneath the surface, ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and make the leadership decisions their transition requires.

The goal is not to impose a leadership formula.

It is to strengthen the people, relationships, ownership, and decision-making capacity the organization needs next.

“Shakeena took her time to get to know me, my company, the heart of what I do and why I chose this path. She also paid attention to my areas of concern I had as a new business owner and she did this without judgment. I was extremely pleased with how personable, relatable and professional she was. I would recommend her services for any new business owner who needs support in getting their business off the ground. After my experience with Shakeena, I will be adding her services as a resource for my own clients. Thank you for all you do.”
