The Power of Starting Small

It's easy to get overwhelmed by your goals, but progress happens when you focus on what's manageable.

I always have a lot of ideas.

That's just the way I was designed, lol.

I always want to implement all of them...at the same time.

The problem with that is that it doesn't get me very far.

I find that I move better when I'm focusing on smaller but impactful steps that's aligned with the direction I'm going.

Here’s why starting small works:

  • It Builds Momentum: Small wins create confidence and motivation to keep going.

  • It Reduces Overwhelm: You’ll feel in control by breaking big goals into bite-sized tasks.

  • It Creates Consistency: Consistent small actions lead to lasting habits.

Break your goal down into smaller, more manageable tasks.

Plan on working on prioritizing no more than 3 tasks a day.

Place them in an order of priority and work on one task until you're done.

Then move on to the next.

While it may be tedious, you'll find that, over time, you'd have created momentum and forward movement on your goal.

What’s one small step you can take today toward a goal you’ve been putting off?
